Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Shield VPN ("the App", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Shield VPN is a virtual private network (VPN) application for Android devices. The Service encrypts your internet connection and routes your traffic through our servers to protect your privacy and security online. The Service is provided "as-is" and we make no guarantees regarding availability, speed, or compatibility with specific websites or services.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will NOT use Shield VPN to:

  • Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Send spam, conduct phishing, or engage in fraudulent activities
  • Attack, interfere with, or disrupt our network infrastructure or servers
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other individuals
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms.

4. Account & Payment

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Paid subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase. All fees are non-refundable after the 30-day money-back guarantee period.

5. Intellectual Property

Shield VPN, its logo, branding, source code, and all related intellectual property are owned by Shield VPN and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHIELD VPN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR SECURITY BREACHES BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shield VPN and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email (if you have an account) or through a prominent notice in the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association.
